Village of Grasse
Not too far from Nice is the village of Grasse where they make a lot of perfume. Jeff and Marion have never been there, but it is supposed to be nice.

Villefranche-sur-Mer Coastal Boat Trip
One of the best ways to see the beautiful architecture of Villefranche is from a boat on the water. Here is one Boat Tour link to get you started. It would be nice to go on a bright sunny day.

Rothschild Gardens
If you remember the movie "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" you might recognize the gardens at "Beaumont-sur-Mer" which are actually the Rothschild Gardens. You can tour the nine gardens and the mansion. Worth the visit! It's in Cap Ferrat, east of Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Gorges du Verdon

Castellane

Fondation Maeght

One of our favorite bookstores. Imagine a store filled with art books! I hope it is still there. The sister store in Paris closed. These are tough times for bookstores.
Old Nice
You will want to do your own research to learn about the old part of Nice they call "Vieux Nice" but This Site has a pretty good general description of the place. There are some funky old-school restaurants there that are fun to dine in.
