A little tour of Annot for those who've arrived.

Afternoon - Practice Games!
Hopefully we can play some practice games Friday afternoon.
5:00 PM - Meet and Greet
This is a big event where all the teams gather at the place du Coulet (in front of Jeff and Marion's place) for cocktails/apéro and a chance to hang out with everyone for a while before the big show. Hopefully, we can review our plans with the Mayor for Saturday.
Evening - More practice?
Maybe play a few more games. Take it easy the night before the tournament.
Noon - Prepare for Tournament
Players should be available around the terrain around noon to make sure all tasks are done. The Annot organizer wants to start the tournament at 2:30, but we are asking that we start at 1:30. Details have not been worked out yet so be aware that we just don't know yet.
There are various options for lunch. The petanque terrain is right in front of the Cafe du Commerce and there is also the Pizzeria Cesar just across the street and another “fast food” type place. The Bistroquet is highly recommended for quality food, it cannot accommodate a big group, but is perfect for lunch.
1:30 or 2:30 - Tournament Starts
The exact starting time will be announced soon.
8:30 PM - Group Dinner
Special dinner at the restaurant Beau Sejour! We talked to the owner and arranged for our group to have a private banquet with a special menu. Thanks to everyone who submitted their dinner selections. Everyone has been acounted for and the restaurant is already preparing for us.
11:00 PM - Evening Games?
More pétanque, anyone?
12:00 Noon - Lunch at place du Coulet
Everyone is invited to a big paella lunch outdoors in front of Jeff and Marion's place at the center of the old part of the village. Highly recommended.
Field Trip - Roncharelle or Entrevaux?
Visit the Le Gîte de Roncharel on top of the hill ? If you look at their site you can see the view that looks down on the village of Annot. (Believe it or not, we WALKED up there one time. Not this year!)
Or visit Entrevaux, 7 km away, by train and/or by car.
Yet to be determined.
10:00 AM - Trip Somewhere
For those who are still there, take the train or drive some place cool and goof off.
8:00 AM - Event Title
Most people have left Annot.
